The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 2002R ‘Conversations Among Us’ is a collaboration between the Chicago based sneaker and streetwear designer and New Balance on a colourway of the casual lifestyle shoe that helps tell the story of Black Americans. The 2002R is one of several models included in this collection, and it is dressed in a summer-ready colour scheme featuring cream mesh on the base and cream tumbled and glossy leather on the overlays. Orange accenting appears underneath the overlays, specifically on the toe, tongue, and heel. A grey ‘N’ logo with black and orange trim is found on the sides and, to finish, ‘Conversations’ and ‘Among Us’ detailing appears on the left and right heel, respectively.
