The Bodega x New Balance 990 v3 “Anniversary” is a collaboration between the New England boutique and New Balance on the popular lifestyle shoe in a colourway that honours Bodega’s 15-year anniversary. Trading the 990’s penchant for grey-based looks, this version features plush brown suede overlays atop a dark brown mesh base. Reflective silver-tone ‘N’ branding appears on either side of the shoe, a silver-tone ‘990’ insignia can be found on the lateral side and ‘Bodega’ branding is printed in red text on the heel. The years ‘2006’ and ‘2021’ appear on the back of the sneaker and are in reference to the year Bodega opened its Boston-area doors and the year of Bodega and New Balance released the “Anniversary.”
