Balmain’s founder, Pierre Balmain, was impassioned by travel and heavily inspired by military colours and silhouettes which have filtered through into the collections over the years. This B-Army canvas and leather tote bag from the maison’s SS23 collection, directed by Olivier Rousteing, sees this influence through the use of materials such as calico canvas and in the strong structured shape of the bag.
